I cultivate both my pedagogical and artistic practice as a third space—a liminal, fluid ground that resists definition by dominant cultures and narratives. Within this space, we are invited to cross boundaries, to dwell in the in‑between, and to embrace creative endeavors that unsettle colonial frameworks. Here, the voices of those historically marginalized are prioritized, and community knowledge productions are honored as vital forms of scholarship and art. This third space becomes a site of dialogue and co‑creation, where we learn to be, live, and think against the grain of the dominant culture.
